Abstract

The structural and technological characteristics of the metering devices for garlic seed sowing machines were analyzed. The operating principles of existing sowing machines were studied, and their advantages and disadvantages were identified. In particular, special attention was paid to the issue of ensuring accurate and uniform distribution of seeds. As a result of the study, new structural solutions were proposed to increase the productivity of the sowing machine, optimize seed consumption and minimize their damage, and opportunities for increasing the accuracy of the metering device were also considered.
