Abstract

This article presents a scientific analysis of the impact of synthetic gas fuels, particularly GTL (gas-to-liquid) fuel, on the service life of passenger car engines. The composition and technical characteristics of GTL fuel are examined, along with its comparison to gasoline-powered and electric vehicles. Research findings demonstrate that due to its high cetane number, low sulfur content, and minimal aromatic compounds, GTL reduces engine wear, extends oil change intervals, and increases engine durability. Furthermore, the ecological advantages of GTL, including reduced emissions and improved engine reliability, are substantiated. Based on a comparative analysis with gasoline engines and electric vehicles, the study highlights the potential of GTL fuel as a promising technical and economic alternative.
