DESIGN OF MACHINES FOR APPLYING MINERAL FERTILIZERS TO VEGETABLE CROPS AND ANALYSIS OF RESEARCH CONDUCTED ON THEM

This article analyzes the design features of machines used for applying mineral fertilizers to vegetable crops, as well as scientific studies aimed at improving their efficiency. The uniform distribution of mineral fertilizers in precise rates plays an important role in increasing the productivity of agricultural products. Therefore, the designs of various types of fertilizer machines – centrifugal spreaders, pneumatic and combined devices – have been studied, and their advantages and disadvantages have been highlighted. In addition, based on the analysis of existing scientific developments, the technological indicators of the fertilization process, energy consumption, and the degree of compliance with agrotechnical requirements have been evaluated.
