Abstract

This article analyzes Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), which serve as the primary tool for product quality control in modern industry, specifically in automotive manufacturing. The study highlights the limitations of traditional template-based inspection methods and explores the technical advantages of CMMs, including their construction, control systems, and factors affecting measurement accuracy. Furthermore, it discusses the role of advanced solutions, such as robotic 3D metrology systems, in enhancing production efficiency
