A brief analysis of the indicators of losses and dilution of natural resources of the subsoil is carried out for the purpose of rational use of the subsoil. Based on the experience of foreign gold mining companies, ways to reduce the indicators of losses and dilution of ores are considered, promising areas of rational use of subsoil in underground mining of gold-bearing ore deposits are identified.
