ANALYSIS OF STATISTICAL METHODS AND ERROR REDUCTION TECHNIQUES IN EXPERIMENTAL MEASUREMENTS

This article analyzes approaches to using statistical methods in the analysis of experimental measurement results, including the identification, assessment, and elimination of errors. It covers the concepts of systematic and random errors, their sources, and their distribution functions, as well as the evaluation of results based on mathematical expectation, variance, and confidence intervals. Additionally, practical methods such as Student's t-distribution for small sample measurements and criteria for identifying gross errors are examined.
