The object of the research is a construction designed for dual manual control of leg movements located under the steering wheel. The requirements for internal safety, functionality, and ergonomics of the equipment are assessed based on UNECE R21 and R79 standards. The results show that this design meets the basic requirements of both regulations and complies with the requirements of additional tests and national legislation for full certification.
