Abstract

This article analyzes environmentally friendly hydrogen production technologies based on renewable energy sources. Special attention is paid to the advantages of solar-powered portable alkaline electrolysis systems and their application in low-power and autonomous settings. A comparative review of traditional alkaline and PEM electrolyzers is presented, highlighting their benefits and limitations. The paper provides an in-depth analysis of technological efficiency, environmental cleanliness, and economic aspects. The proposed approach is considered a promising solution for remote and off-grid areas.
